About Us

Cabiles, McCusker & Lynch: Utility Design has been providing gas, electric, joint trench design and facilitation services since 2004.  We are all former utility employees, enabling us to work effectively and efficiently to get the job done within the regulated utility industry.  Our goal is to provide seamless utility service design and installation coordination on our client's timeline.  In partnership with developers, architects, engineers and contractors, we create a utility services plan that thoroughly addresses each project's unique situation and efficiently implement the plan to completion.  CML Utility Design has completed numerous Gas, Electric and Joint Trench design projects for single family dwellings, multi-use buildings, commercial, industrial, high-rises, hotels and shopping centers.

George Cabiles - Partner
George started his employment with PG&E in 1980 at Hunter's Point Power Plant as an Auxiliary Operator.  He then transferred to the San Francisco Service Center's Gas Service Department where he rose from servicing residential and commercial gas appliances to being an alterations crew member installing multi-meter manifolds, and large commercial and industrial meters.  Four years before leaving the Gas Service Department, he became a Dept. Supervisor and played a large role in both the TCAP program, helping San Francisco's low income residents increase their gas appliance efficiency, and in San Francisco's Pipeline Replacement Program (PLRP).  While working with the PLRP George prevented customers from being affected by the replacement of their gas service by coordinating the operations of the Gas Service Dept with both the engineering and the gas construction departments as they upgraded the distribution system from low pressure to high pressure.

George then transferred to the Estimating/Engineering Department where he designed gas services for residential, multi-unit, mixed residential/commercial and commercial buildings.  He also designed jobs to relocate existing gas facilities allowing new City of San Francisco projects to be completed.  He has designed new installations of gas mains, gas main extensions, and gas main replacements.

George left PG&E in 2004 and started PII Enterprises, LLC the parent company of Cabiles, McCusker, and Lynch Utility Design.

Kelli McCusker - Partner

Kelli left PG&E in 2004 and started PII Enterprises, LLC the parent company of Cabiles, McCusker, and Lynch Utility Design.
